Initial Screening Appointment
Diagnostic assessment starts with a 50 minute initial screening appointment to understand your reasons for seeking assessment and to explore evidence for possible Autism or AuDHD. A series of questionnaires for autism will be emailed to you ahead of the screening appointment, which will have been carefully reviewed prior to your appointment. Evidence for ADHD will be explored in the appointment if indicated. Initial screening appointments tend to be online, but F2F appointments can be arranged. Screening helps decide whether diagnostic assessment is indicated and would meet your needs. There is no pressure to decide your next steps at an initial screening appointment. If you choose diagnostic assessment, the screening fee will be deducted from the overall cost.
